Each pair is forged and sharpened by hand using time-honored techniques, resulting in unique variations that highlight their artisanal quality. The handles are colored through a baking process, ensuring no harsh chemicals are used. Crafted from high carbon steel, these tools offer exceptional performance but require proper care to prevent rust.

Toyama Hamono have specialized in making pruning shears, snips and secateurs since early 1861. Theses scissors are one piece hand forged, meaning the handle and blade are forged from a single piece of iron with with a forge welded high carbon steel cutting edge on the blade.

The edge is razor sharp and polished to a mirror finish. They come boxed with a blade sheath.
