Forged in Miki, Hyogo Prefecture and shipped fast from Perth, the Cypress complete spoon carving knife set from Michi Hamono gives you everything to begin and finish a spoon project. It includes three Blue Paper No.2 knives, Kiso hinoki cypress blanks, waterproof papers, and a slim kiri box for storage.

The set covers shaping, hollowing, and refining. A straight knife handles layout and controlled paring. A flat gouge cleans facets. A round scoop gouge forms the bowl smoothly. Blades are Aogami Blue No.2 for keen edges and steady retention. Each knife is about 175 mm overall with a 30 mm edge, 9 mm wide, set into light birch handles for balance. The included cypress blanks and abrasives help you move from roughing to finish with minimal extra gear.
