Description

Longer round sickle for wider grass coverage

The Hounen Mitsuyama Kazekari Round Sickle combines a 195mm CroMax steel blade with a 360mm handle for more reach and coverage through grass.

Its composite single-bevel blade is intended for soft to moderately firm grass.

Best suited to

  • Wider patches of grass and general grass cutting.
  • Gardeners wanting more reach than a standard 165–180mm sickle.
  • Suitable soft to moderately firm growth.

Coverage vs close control

Choose Kazekari for a wider working sweep. Choose a compact Piccolo, Mulberry or Sakai sickle for close work immediately around plants.

Care

Clean, dry and oil the blade. Maintain the bevelled face and lightly deburr the flat side. Do not use it on woody brush, roots, wire, stones or hard soil.
