The Azui No.101 Japanese Four-Tine Hand Hoe is a compact hand cultivator for loosening and aerating the upper layer of garden soil, disturbing young weeds and working carefully around vegetables, herbs and established plants.

Its four narrow tines enter the soil with less resistance than a broad hoe blade. This gives better control in beds, borders and other close spaces without shifting a large volume of soil at once.
